Shared Christmas and New Years Eve Parties
JD Parties sells tickets to shared Christmas and NYE party nights in three different cities in the UK. Throughout the festive season they sell close to 50,000 tickets for over 30 party dates. Our team was responsible to grow ticket sales over 30% year on year.
We set out to develop on-site content to help with organic growth, and ran ongoing split tests to optimize conversion points throughout the site. Given the already impressive sales figures of the past, our plan revolved around re-engaging past customers through creating email nurture campaigns that ensured almost 70% of all ticket bookings came from returning customers.
Through careful content restructuring of key sales pages JD Parties now dominates the Christmas and New Years Eve shared party market in the UK, and grew ticked sales by 46% in 2016.
By using a combination of social media giveaway contests and Facebook retargeting we've gained over 50,000 impressions and received hundreds of entries to the contests. The result: massive social amplification and 40% boost year on year in ticket sales throughout the month of November.
